LVMH Q3 Earnings Update
MC.PA (earnings): LVMH’s Q3 showed resilience rather than a full recovery: revenue was €18.5B, up 1% organically, as 8% organic growth in Watches & Jewelry over nine months and in Selective Retailing in Q3 helped offset weakness in Fashion & Leather Goods, its largest division, amid China’s slowdown. Continued brand investment, €2.3B of nine-month buybacks and net debt of ~€7B support the long-term case, but Asia ex-Japan fell 5% and the unresolved question is valuation.
