Wienerberger (WIE Austria): Housing weakness leads to another profit warning
WIE.VI (update): Wienerberger cut its 2026 operating EBITDA target for the second time, to €640-650m from €700m, after weaker North American and UK housing volumes, incomplete pricing, rising input costs and low factory utilisation hurt Q3. Interim CEO Hanke has launched a broader strategic review covering costs, portfolio and leverage, but deeper restructuring could require cash charges and asset impairments.
