MC.PA (monitor): LVMH looks inexpensive at 16x forward earnings and retains solid fundamentals, including share repurchases, but its scaled boutique, marketing and distribution machine has made key luxury symbols ubiquitous, weakening scarcity and desire. “Other” revenue, including experience-led luxury, grew 138% from 2022 versus 2% for LVMH overall but remains under 1% of revenue.
