FTZ.V (monitor): Fitzroy Minerals’ flagship Buen Retiro IOCG project combines mini-column heap-leach copper recoveries of up to 82.6% with a Pucobre partnership under which Pucobre would take 30% of the project and fund 90% of its exploration and development expenses, with planned use of Pucobre’s excess production capacity. The deal appears to remove substantial risk while preserving Fitzroy’s majority ownership. A PEA is due before year-end, followed by a PFS by end-2027 and targeted production in 2028; its economics remain to be assessed.
